Announcing the Under the Lex Performance Series

Beginning this summer on select Wednesdays, June 21 and running through August 23, 2023, Under the Lex is a music series hosted by Youa Vang of Third Daughter, Restless Daughter.

The performances came to fruition when Vang was walking underneath the bridge and discovered the acoustics that were perfect for stripped down performances. Through her work in the music community and with prior experience programming music at MSP Airport and Keg and Case Market, she imagined having performances in a random and entirely different space from a traditional venue. With assistance from the Arts Impact for Groups from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council (MRAC), the program was fully funded with the intention of paying artists a wage that helps advocate for their art. Each musician was carefully selected for their artistry in storytelling through composition.
