The 2021 Caravan du Nord traveling showcase continues at The Paramount Theatre in Austin, MN with a day of artist workshops, an industry social hour, and performances by headliner Annie Mack, Kaleb Braun-Schulz & The Nightingale Band, and Of The Orchard. Sponsored by The Current.


The 2021 Caravan du Nord is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Are you just getting started as a musician? Looking for more information about what is out there to help you at any level? Music Coalition staff will provide an overview of the MMC programs and resources, what are some other ways to connect and learn, and give a brief overview of funding opportunities for musicians in Minnesota.

Songwriting with Annie Mack
In this one-hour workshop, headlining singer-songwriter Annie Mack will discuss her process of collaboration in writing her songs, including:
- Where her inspirations for her songs come from in general.
- Demonstration (along with her guitarist) of some basic song-writing techniques.
- Time for questions from any participants attending her songwriting workshops.
- Direct advice on songwriting processes to any attendee seeking such advice.
